Roberts off SEC's hook (The Recorder)
Partner Bill Freeman is quoted in The Recorder regarding the Firm's successful representation of Kent Roberts, former general counsel at McAfee, Inc., against a civil suit brought by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). The dismissal of the suit brought closure to Roberts' nearly three-year battle with the Department of Justice and SEC related to charges of improper backdating of stock options.
