Marc Recht is a partner in the Cooley Business department. He joined the Firm in 2007 and is resident in the Boston office.
Mr. Recht represents life sciences and other healthcare companies and investors in public and private transactions, including securities offerings and M&A matters. He also has extensive experience advising public companies with respect to SEC periodic disclosure, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, corporate governance and Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange rules.

Prior to joining Cooley, Mr. Recht was a corporate partner in the Boston office of McDermott Will & Emery LLP.
In 2007, 2010 and 2011, Mr. Recht was recognized as a "Rising Star" by Massachusetts Super Lawyers.
Mr. Recht received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School, where he was the articles editor and a staff writer of the Third World Law Journal. He received his B.A., with honors, from Brandeis University.
